A Phase 3, Randomized, Double-blind, Placebo-controlled Study Evaluating the Efficacy and Safety of Suzetrigine for Acute Pain After an Abdominoplasty
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Suzetrigine (SUZ) in treating acute pain after an abdominoplasty.
Conditions: Acute Pain.
Primary outcome: Time-weighted Sum of the Pain Intensity Difference (SPID) as Recorded on a Numeric Pain Rating Scale (NPRS) From 0 to 48 Hours (SPID48) SUZ Compared to Placebo.
Enrollment: 1118 participants.
How strong is the evidence?
Evidence Hub reads this as a randomized trial, done in people. Its evidence level is 2 of 5 (High · randomized trial). Randomized trials of a reasonable size are the strongest single-study design. Reported size: 1,118 participants or records.
