A Phase 1, Open-label, Randomized, Crossover Study to Evaluate the Relative Bioavailability and Food Effect of a New Tablet Formulation of Suzetrigine in Healthy Adult Subjects

ClinicalTrials.gov · COMPLETED, 2024

48 participants

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the pharmacokinetics (PK) of suzetrigine (SUZ; VX-548) and its metabolite along with its safety and tolerability, in healthy participants.

Conditions: Pain.

Primary outcome: Part A: Maximum Observed Plasma Concentration (Cmax) of SUZ; Part A: Area Under the Concentration Versus Time Curve From the Time of Dosing to the Last Measurable Concentration (AUC0-tlast) of SUZ; Part A: Area Under the Concentration Versus Time Curve From the Time of Dosing Extrapolated to Infinity (AUC0-inf) of SUZ; Part B: Cmax of SUZ; Part B: AUC0-tlast of SUZ; Part B: AUC0-inf of SUZ.

Enrollment: 48 participants.

How strong is the evidence?

Evidence Hub reads this as a randomized trial, done in people. Its evidence level is 2 of 5 (High · randomized trial). Randomized trials of a reasonable size are the strongest single-study design. Reported size: 48 participants or records.

How the five levels of evidence work. The level is assigned automatically from the abstract and can be wrong, so check the paper.
