A Phase 3, Randomized, Double-blind, Placebo-controlled Study Evaluating the Efficacy and Safety of VX-548 for Acute Pain After a Bunionectomy
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of suzetrigine for acute pain after a bunionectomy.
Conditions: Acute Pain.
Primary outcome: Time-weighted Sum of the Pain Intensity Difference (SPID) as Recorded on a Numeric Pain Rating Scale (NPRS) From 0 to 48 Hours (SPID48), SUZ Compared to Placebo.
Enrollment: 1075 participants.
How strong is the evidence?
Evidence Hub reads this as a randomized trial, done in people. Its evidence level is 2 of 5 (High · randomized trial). Randomized trials of a reasonable size are the strongest single-study design. Reported size: 1,075 participants or records.
