Keamanan Proton Pump Inhibitor (PPI) pada Kehamilan : Kajian Literatur Sistematik
Abstract
Abstract. Proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) are commonly used drugs in the management of chronic diseases such as GERD, gastritis, and peptic ulcers. However, physiological changes in pregnant women lead to changes in the long-term safety of PPI use. The purpose of this study was to review the safety of PPIs in pregnancy to identify potential adverse drug reactions (ROTDs) that can be taken into consideration in clinical practice. The method used was a systematic literature review conducted by searching for articles in the last 10 years using the PubMed and Science Direct databases. Then filtering articles using Mendeley and critical appraisal with JBI tools to identify potential bias in each article. Three were a total of 3 articles that discussed the use of PPIs in pregnant patients that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results of the literature study from the three articles discussed ROTD due to the use of PPIs during pregnancy, namely preeclampsia, eclampsia, and congenital malformations due to esomeprazole.
