Abstract

The purpose of this study is to assess the bioavailability of dexlansoprazole from a 30 milligram (mg) or 60 mg delayed-release capsule manufactured at Takeda GmbH Plant Oranienburg, Germany (TOB) relative to that of dexlansoprazole from a 30 mg or 60 mg capsule manufactured at Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd. (Osaka, Japan) (TPC).

Conditions: Healthy Volunteers.

Primary outcome: Cmax: Maximum Observed Plasma Concentration for Dexlansoprazole; AUClast: Area Under the Plasma Concentration-Time Curve From Time 0 to the Time of the Last Quantifiable Concentration for Dexlansoprazole; AUC∞: Area Under the Plasma Concentration-time Curve From Time 0 to Infinity for Dexlansoprazole.

Enrollment: 116 participants.

How strong is the evidence?

Evidence Hub reads this as a randomized trial, done in people. Its evidence level is 2 of 5 (High · randomized trial). Randomized trials of a reasonable size are the strongest single-study design. Reported size: 116 participants or records.

How the five levels of evidence work. The level is assigned automatically from the abstract and can be wrong, so check the paper.
