The effects of lizhuwei sanlian combined lansoprazole on helicobacter pylori associated peptic ulcer in patients
Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the effects of Lizhuwei Sanlian combined lansoprazole on Helicobacter pylori(Hp) associated peptic ulcer in patients.Method:61 patients with Hp associated peptic ulcer were randomly divided into Lizhuwei Sanlian combined lansoprazole group(group A) and lansoprazole group(group B).Group A: colloidal bismuth subcitrate 110mg four times a day plus tinidazole 500mg twice a day, clotrimazde 250mg twice a day and lansoprazole 30mg once a day for one week;Group B: lansoprazole 30mg once a day and amoxicillin 500mg three times a day plus metronidazole 200mg three times a day for two weeks;followed by lansoprazole for forth week. The eradication of Hp and healing of ulcer were assessed by 14C breath test and electronic endoscopy 4 weeks after discontinuation of medicines. Results:Hp eradication rate(96.7%) in group A were significantly higher than those in group B(83.9%)(P0.05).Ulcer healing rate(90.0%) and the total effective rate(96.7%) in group A were slightly higher than those in group B(83.9%;90.3%),and bellyache and symptoms were more relieved in group A than those in group B,but which was not statistically significant(P0.05).There were no obvious adverse effects in group A and group B.Conclusion:Lizhuwei Sanlian combined lansoprazole can effectively eradicate Hp,treat ulcer and relieve symptoms in peptic ulcer patients with no obvious adverse effects.
