Systematic Literature Review Protocol: Artificial Intelligence Agents and Multi-Agent Orchestration in Digital Manufacturing Platforms for Customized Upper-Limb Orthoses
Abstract
This protocol establishes the PRISMA 2020 and Kitchenham guidelines for a systematic literature review evaluating the integration of Artificial Intelligence agents, multi-agent stateful orchestration (LangGraph), and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) within digital manufacturing pipelines for custom upper-limb orthoses. The study investigates CAD automation (Blender BMesh, OpenSCAD), grounding on ISO 13485 standards, and digital validation metrics (FEA simulation, Trimesh mesh manifoldness, and clinical fit).
