Multi-Ax-to-Grind Urdu Dataset and Code
Abstract
Multi-Ax-to-Grind Urdu, the first large-scale multimodal fake news dataset for a low-resource, non-Latin script language. It consists of 21,715 image-text pairs labelled as true or fake, spanning 15 domains. Our proposed M&M-RAG (Multilingual & Multimodal Retrieval-Augmented Generation) framework leverages Large Vision-Language Models (LVLMs) and Large Language Models (LLMs) for FND across a multilingual and multimodal evaluation setup, spanning English, Chinese, and Urdu monolingual datasets.
