Development of an AI-based solution to improve accessibility (B)
Abstract
As the Internet becomes more and more widely used, web accessibility issues remain a significant problem that troubles users and developers. In this report, an innovative solution that leverages Large Language Models and Retrieval Augmented Generation to identify web accessibility errors and provide fixes will be introduced, along with its technological details, user research process, steps of implementation and performance evaluation. The solution achieved an outperforming recall score compared to the existing solution and its potential to be a feasible alternative is highly regarded.
