A Study of Sodium Carboxymethylcellulose for Post Cataract Surgery Dry Eye Symptoms
Abstract
This study will evaluate the effect of sodium carboxymethylcellulose eye drops in the treatment of dry eye after cataract surgery.
Conditions: Dry Eye Syndromes, Cataract.
Primary outcome: Tear Break-Up Time (TBUT) in the Study Eye; Tear Break-Up Time (TBUT) in the Study Eye.
Enrollment: 180 participants.
How strong is the evidence?
Evidence Hub reads this as a clinical trial, done in people. Its evidence level is 3 of 5 (Moderate · trial / cohort / secondary analysis). Trials without a large randomized design, cohorts and secondary analyses give moderate evidence. Reported size: 180 participants or records.
