Variational Diffusion Models
Abstract
In this chapter,we will apply whatwe have learned from previous chapters about graphical models, variational autoencoders, and free energies to a particular architecture called diffusion models (Sohl-Dickstein et al., 2015). Diffusion models are arguably the most popular and successful generative models for image and video generation.
