Guest Editorial: AI for COVID-19
Abstract
The eight articles in this special section aim to provide a forum for AI and data science research in understanding, predicting, forecasting, and modeling the COVID-19 crisis and potential future outbreaks. The accepted papers present diverse perspectives on understanding and combating the COVID-19 pandemic using the AI toolbox, including how to extract knowledge about COVID-19 from scientific publications, model and control the pandemic’s spread, and understand the diffusion of false information throughout online social media.
