Good efficacy and safety profile of abrocitinib in Chinese adult patients with atopic dermatitis: A case series study
Abstract
To the Editor: Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a chronic, relapsing inflammatory dermatosis with impairment of skin barrier function and immune dysfunction that affects both children and adults. It is characterized by eczema-tous lesions, pruritus, sleep disturbance, and diminished quality of life. Management of mild AD relies on emol-lients, topical corticosteroids, topical calcineurin inhibitors
How strong is the evidence?
Evidence Hub reads this as a case series, done in people. Its evidence level is 5 of 5 (Very low · case / narrative / animal / in vitro / in silico). Case reports, narrative reviews, and animal, cell or computer-model studies give the weakest evidence for human health.
