A Prospective, Randomized, Open Label, Parallel, 6-month Study to Explore and Evaluate the Therapeutic Effects of Henagliflozin on the Cognitive Function, Olfactory Function, and Odor-induced Brain Activation in T2DM Patients With Mild Cognitive Impairment
Abstract
This is a prospective, randomized, open label, parallel, 16-week study to explore and evaluate the therapeutic effects of Henagliflozin on the cognitive function, olfactory function, and odor-induced brain activation in T2DM patients with mild cognitive impairment (MCI).
Conditions: Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, Mild Cognitive Impairment.
Primary outcome: Change of olfactory brain activation by fMRI.
Enrollment: 24 participants.
How strong is the evidence?
Evidence Hub reads this as a randomized trial, done in people. Its evidence level is 3 of 5 (Moderate · trial / cohort / secondary analysis). Trials without a large randomized design, cohorts and secondary analyses give moderate evidence. Reported size: 24 participants or records.
