Susceptibility analysis of urinary tract infection bacteria to fosfomycin trometamol
Abstract
Objective To study the sensitivity of the urinary tract infection bacteria to fosfomycin trometamol other antibiotics in vitro. Methods Via performing urinary culture and susceptibility examination, the sensitivity of urinary tract infection bacteria were examined to fosfomycin trometamol as well as other 5 antimicrobial agents. Results Thirty-nine strains of bacteria were identified, including 29 strains of Escherichia coli,4 strains of Pseudomonas aeruginosa and 2 strains of Enterococcus faecalis and so on. The sensitivity of to Escherichia coli and all the strains sensitivity of were 91. 3% and 84. 6% respectively, which was higher than to cefuroxinme, ceftriaxone, levofloxacin and ampicillin( P 0. 01). Conclusion The bacteria from urinary infection were highly susceptible to fosfamycin trometamol in vitro.
