Evaluation and Validation of Metabolic Markers for the Prediction of Drug-drug Interaction of Various CYP3A4 Substrates and Inhibitors in Healthy Male Subjects
Abstract
Evaluation and validation of metabolic markers for the prediction of drug-drug interaction of various CYP3A4 substrates (sildenafil) and inhibitors (erythromycin/itraconazole) in healthy male subjects
Conditions: Healthy.
Primary outcome: Quantification of endogenous metabolites (plasma); Quantification of endogenous metabolites (urine).
Enrollment: 32 participants.
How strong is the evidence?
Evidence Hub reads this as a clinical trial, done in people. Its evidence level is 3 of 5 (Moderate · trial / cohort / secondary analysis). Trials without a large randomized design, cohorts and secondary analyses give moderate evidence. Reported size: 32 participants or records.
