ClinicalTrials.gov · COMPLETED, 2020

25 participants

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and tolerability of administering a single intravenous (IV) infusion dose of TAK-925 to adults with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) who are experiencing excessive daytime sleepiness (EDS) despite adequate use of CPAP as the primary OSA therapy.

Conditions: Obstructive Sleep Apnea.

Primary outcome: Percentage of Participants who Experience at Least One Treatment Emergent Adverse Event (TEAE); Percentage of Participants who Meet the Markedly Abnormal Criteria for Clinical Safety Laboratory Tests at Least Once Post a Regimen; Percentage of Participants who Meet the Markedly Abnormal Criteria for Vital Sign Measurements at Least Once Post a Regimen; Percentage of Participants who Meet the Markedly Abnormal Criteria for 12-Lead Safety Electrocardiogram (ECG) Parameters at Least Once Post a Regimen.

Enrollment: 25 participants.

How strong is the evidence?

Evidence Hub reads this as a randomized trial, done in people. Its evidence level is 3 of 5 (Moderate · trial / cohort / secondary analysis). Trials without a large randomized design, cohorts and secondary analyses give moderate evidence. Reported size: 25 participants or records.

How the five levels of evidence work. The level is assigned automatically from the abstract and can be wrong, so check the paper.
