A Multi-center, Open-Label Study to Evaluate the Efficacy and Safety of Selegiline for the Treatment of Excessive Daytime Sleepiness in Parkinson's Disease
Abstract
This is a multi-center, open-label, single-arm 8-week investigation of Selegiline for treatment of EDS in PD patients.
Conditions: Parkinson Disease.
Primary outcome: The mean change of ESS score will be assessed from baseline to 8 weeks when given Selegiline as an adjunctive therapy or monotherapy in PD patients with daytime sleepiness..
Enrollment: 141 participants.
How strong is the evidence?
Evidence Hub reads this as a clinical trial, done in people. Its evidence level is 3 of 5 (Moderate · trial / cohort / secondary analysis). Trials without a large randomized design, cohorts and secondary analyses give moderate evidence. Reported size: 141 participants or records.
