Application of sequential therapy of moxifloxacin in acute pneumonia
Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical effect of sequential therapy of moxifloxacin on acute pneumonia. Methods Fifty-two patients were treated with moxifloxacin,400 mg once a day. Then congeneric medicine orally were given when their symptoms of disease were improved.Symptoms, bacteriology, drug sensitiveness were observed respectively before and after treatment. Results The effective rate, bacterial clearing rate and occurrence of the adverse reactions were 90.91%,93.94%,9.09% respectively. Conclusion Moxifloxacin is a safe and efficient kind of antibiotics in sequential therapy with acute pneumonia.
