Clinical observation of moxifloxacin therapy for of mycoplasma pneumonia
Abstract
[Objective]To investigate the effect of moxifloxacin therapy for of mycoplasma pneumonia.[Methods]Between October 2009-October 2010 in our hospital,80 mycoplasma pneumonia cases were studied, and randomly divided into control group and observation group,n = 40 each.Control group were given erythromycin infusion 30mg/(kg·d),2 times/d;observation group were treated with moxifloxacin tablets,400mg/d,1 times/d,for 7-14d.Two groups were compared.[Results]The total effective rate in the observation group was 96.0%,significantly higher than 80% in the control group(χ2 = 4.11,P﹤0.05);coughing time, fever time, abnormal breath sound, hospitalization time were significantly shorter than those of the control group(P﹤0.05);Adverse reaction rate in the observation group was 5%,lower than 12.5% of the control group, the difference between groups was not significant(χ2 = 0.63,P﹥0.05).[Conclusion]Moxifloxacin is effective for the treatment of mycoplasma pneumonia, and should further be promoted in the clinical application.
