Study on the Effect of Moxifloxacin Combined with Azithromycin in Treating Mycoplasma Pneumonia
Abstract
Objective: To investigate the effect and safety of moxifloxacin combined with azithromycin in treating mycoplasma pneumonia.Method: 82 patients with mycoplasma pneumonia in our hospital from Jan.in 2007 to Jan.in 2008 were divided into the treatment group(42 cases) and control group(42 cases). The patients in two groups were given azithromycin, and in the meanwhile those in treatment group were given moxifloxacin.Result: There was significant difference between two groups about the time of body temperature recovering, cough dispearing, bellows rales dispearing and rate of bacterium dispearing after treatment(P0.05).The total effective rate was 90.48% respectively in the treatment group and control group 78.57%,and there was significant difference between them(P0.05).The rate of drug adverse reaction was both 4.76%in the treatment group and in the control group, and there was no significant difference between them(P0.05).There was little drug adverse reaction. Conclusion: The effect of moxifloxacin combined with azithromycin in treating mycoplasma pneumonia is obvious and the side effect is few,so it is worth being used widely.
