Establishment of experimental model of cultured rat's osteoblast in vitro
Abstract
Objective:To establish experimental-model of rat's osteoblast in vitro and study the growing regularity of osteoblast. Methods:The osteoblasts were isolated from newborn rats within24hours.The collagenase digested rat's calvaria repeatedly, the osteoblasts were colˉlected and cultured in vitro.Morphologic changes of osteoblasts were observed. The cells were evaluated and the growth curve was recorded, the mineralization nodes were stained. Results:Experimental model of rat's cultured osteoblast in vitro was established. The cell possesses many properties of osteoblast. The growth curve showed that the cultured osteoblasts were in slow growth period before the7th day. They entered logarithm-growth period in the8th,stepped in stationary phase in the15th day and entered the restrain period in the21st day. Conclusion:The method of culture of osteoblast obtained from SD rats in vitro is practicable. The model can be used in many medical studies.
