Effects of daidzein on proliferation and differentiation of cultured osteoblasts in vitro
Abstract
Object To study the effects of Daidzein on proliferation and differentiation of cultured osteoblasts in vitro. Methods MTT and RIA were used separately to observe the proliferation and the comcentration of BGP outside the osteoblasts cultured in vitro with Daidzein of different concentration in it for different incubation periods.Protein was measured by Lowry. Results It was found that Daidzein had the effects on promoting proliferation of osteoblasts cultured for 48 h and 72 h at doses ranging from 1×10 -9 mol/L~1×10 -5 mol/L,The concentration of BGP was increased by Dzidzein at doses ranging from 1×10 -9 mol/L~1×10 -7 mol/L after 48 h and 72 h incubation. Conclusion Daidzein has the effects on stimulating the proliferation and differentiation of cultured osteoblasts in vitro.
