Abstract

Object to study the effects of Deoxyschizandrin on proliferation and differentiation of cultured osteoblasts in vitro. Methods MTT and PNPP were used separately to observe the proliferation and the activity of ALP of osteoblasts cultured in vitro with Deoxyschizandrin of different concentration in it for different incubation periods.Protein was measured by Lowry. Results It was found that Deoxyschizandrin had the effects on promoting proliferation of osteoblasts cultured for 24 h and 72 h at doses of 0 75×10 -5 mol/L and 0 75×10 -9 mol/L,and 48 h at doses ranging from 0 75×10 -4 mol/L to~0 75×10 -7 mol/L.The activity of ALP was stimulated by Deoxyschizandrin at doses ranging from 0 75×10 -5 mol/L~0 75×10 -6 mol/L after 48 h incubation. Conclusion Deoxyschizandrin has the effects on stimulating the proliferation and differentiation of cultured osteoblasts in vitro.
