Advanced RP-HPLC Technique for Huge Drug Formulations using Empagliflozin and Metformin Methods
Abstract
A straightforward, accurate, and sensitive RP-HPLC technique was established and authenticated for the instantaneous detection of empagliflozin and metformin in bulk and dosage form. On a C18 (150 mm 4.6 mm, 5 m) column, chromatographic partition be executed using an isocratic elution mode and a mobile phase made up of a 50:50 mixture of methanol and water. There was a 1 ml/min flow. PDA detectors were used to monitor the identification at 277 nm. The custody times of were respectively 3.46 and 6.07 minutes. Empagliflozin and metformin had method linearities of 10–37.5 g/mL and 5–18.75 g/mL, respectively. In accordance with ICH recommendations, this approach was validated.
