Abstract

This dataset contains the source data supporting the article entitled Complex antiarrhythmic effects of empagliflozin in non-ischemic HFrEF cardiomyocytes. This dataset supports key findings about the cardiac electrophysiological effects of empagliflozin in established non-diabetic, non-ischemic chronic heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF) models in rabbits (combined volume and pressure overload) and mice (transverse aortic constriction, TAC). Electrophysiology data, including action potentials and ionic currents, are included in separate Excel sheets with individual cell data and group statistics. The dataset is structured to follow the sequence of data presented in the Figures in the article and to ease navigation between the uploaded data files.

How strong is the evidence?

Evidence Hub reads this as a dataset, done in animal, not in people. Its evidence level is 5 of 5 (Very low · case / narrative / animal / in vitro / in silico). Case reports, narrative reviews, and animal, cell or computer-model studies give the weakest evidence for human health.

How the five levels of evidence work. The level is assigned automatically from the abstract and can be wrong, so check the paper.
