Treatment of hydroxide discharges from a drinking water treatment plant in the city of Rabat (Morocco)
Abstract
The objective of our work is the optimization of the sludge treatment unit by centrifugation. The liquid sludge's from purging the settling tanks and the washing water from the filters are discharged to the thickener in order to increase their ability to dehydrate, these sludge's are extracted to the dehydration stage. The analysis was carried out on the dryness of dewatered sludge, which represents the dry matter, by taking the sample of sludge in an oven at 105 ° C. until the masses obtained are constant, on the one hand, and other on operating parameters.
