The Spectral Advantage in Water Quality
Abstract
This report covers bio-optical retrieval for inland and coastal waters: separating cyanobacterial pigment signatures from benign green algae for early bloom screening, retrieving chlorophyll and suspended matter indicators in optically complex waters, and mapping the ferric iron chemistry of acid mine drainage along discharge channels. The report documents where retrievals hold, where they are masked, and what the layers do not claim.
