Evaluating Different Low-level Laser Therapies to Treat Neck Pain in Air Force Pilots and Flight Crew
Abstract
Determine the most effective and efficient treatment protocols for treating neck pain with LLLT.
Conditions: Neck Pain.
Primary outcome: Number of grounding days from flying due to neck pain -- Interval Variable; Change in Neck Disability Index (NDI); Change in Defense and Veterans Pain Rating Scale (DVPRS).
Enrollment: 80 participants.
How strong is the evidence?
Evidence Hub reads this as a clinical trial, done in people. Its evidence level is 3 of 5 (Moderate · trial / cohort / secondary analysis). Trials without a large randomized design, cohorts and secondary analyses give moderate evidence. Reported size: 80 participants or records.
