An Open-Label, Randomized, Double Arm, Phase 2 Study to Evaluate the Safety and Efficacy of C and RQC for Preventing Progression in Age-Related Macular Degeneration
Abstract
To evaluate the safety and efficacy of resveratrol, quercetin, and curcumin in combination (RQC) over 2 years in patients with age-related macular degeneration (AMD).
Conditions: Age-related Macular Degeneration.
Primary outcome: Change in Drusen Volume from Baseline; Geographic Atrophy (GA) Growth Rate; Progression to Moderate Vision Loss; Adverse Events.
Enrollment: 55 participants.
How strong is the evidence?
Evidence Hub reads this as a randomized trial, done in people. Its evidence level is 2 of 5 (High · randomized trial). Randomized trials of a reasonable size are the strongest single-study design. Reported size: 55 participants or records.
