The Effect of Mydriatics on Posterior Synechia After Combined Surgery of Pars Plana Vitrectomy, Phacoemulsification, and Intraocular Lens Implantation
Abstract
The study goal is to evaluate the influence of mydriatic drops on the development of posterior synechia after combined cataract and vitrectomy surgery.
Conditions: Posterior Synechiae of Iris.
Primary outcome: Number of participants developed iris posterior synechiae after surgery.
Enrollment: 60 participants.
How strong is the evidence?
Evidence Hub reads this as a clinical trial, done in people. Its evidence level is 3 of 5 (Moderate · trial / cohort / secondary analysis). Trials without a large randomized design, cohorts and secondary analyses give moderate evidence. Reported size: 60 participants or records.
