Fe-based Polarizing Multilayer Neutron Optics
Abstract
The Cover show results from our studies on Fe/Si + 11 B4C (front) and Fe/Si (back) multilayers.Where the electron diffraction images, GISAXS raw data and X-ray reflectivities (also mirrored for art purposes) can be compared. Also a schematic of the multilayer can be shown inside the area between reflectivity curves.Where the Fe/Si + 11 B4C (front) represents the future, while the Fe/Si (back) depicts the past.Further, the artwork can also be seen as a neutron source in the center of the electron diffraction image while the GISAXS and XRR demonstrates the outgoing beam and optics that changes the beams properties and at the end of the beam you will find the sample itself, mimicking a central part of my study. The spine of the cover also shows TEM images of Fe/Si + 11 B4C (above) and Fe/Si (below) multilayers.
