Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine whether administration of AZD1656 will affect the pharmacokinetics of Pioglitazone and vice versa in patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.
Conditions: Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.
Primary outcome: To evaluate the effect of AZD1656 on the steady state pharmacokinetics of Pioglitazone and vice versa by assessment of AUC (0-24) and Cmax..
Enrollment: 28 participants.
How strong is the evidence?
Evidence Hub reads this as a randomized trial, done in people. Its evidence level is 3 of 5 (Moderate · trial / cohort / secondary analysis). Trials without a large randomized design, cohorts and secondary analyses give moderate evidence. Reported size: 28 participants or records.
