Abstract

This is a randomized, double blind, placebo controlled, single ascending dose study to assess the safety, tolerability, PK, PD and IE with metformin following a single oral dose of DA-1241 in healthy male subjects.

Conditions: Diabetes Mellitus, Type 2.

Primary outcome: [Safety and Tolerability] 12-lead ECGs, Vital signs. Physical examinations, Clinical laboratory testing and Adverse event assessments.

Enrollment: 60 participants.

How strong is the evidence?

Evidence Hub reads this as a randomized trial, done in people. Its evidence level is 2 of 5 (High · randomized trial). Randomized trials of a reasonable size are the strongest single-study design. Reported size: 60 participants or records.

How the five levels of evidence work. The level is assigned automatically from the abstract and can be wrong, so check the paper.
