Abstract

and the His bundle), often presenting as signi fi cantly deviated axes or, in some cases, a positive QRS in lead aVR or signs of dextro-cardia. Prolonged PR intervals — due to conduction system anomalies — and patterns of atrial or ventricular hypertrophy are also frequently identi fi ed. 5 In some patients, progressive dysfunction of the systemic RV becomes evident both clinically and on ECG, making early detection of RV overload and impending failure crucial. In this case series, we describe the ECG and imaging fi ndings in 7 adult patients with ccTGA. We emphasize variations in cardiac position (situs solitus or inversus; dextrocardia, mesocardia, or levocardia), their hemodynamic consequences, the degree of RV dilation or hypertrophy

How strong is the evidence?

Evidence Hub reads this as a case series, done in people. Its evidence level is 5 of 5 (Very low · case / narrative / animal / in vitro / in silico). Case reports, narrative reviews, and animal, cell or computer-model studies give the weakest evidence for human health. Reported size: 7 participants or records.

How the five levels of evidence work. The level is assigned automatically from the abstract and can be wrong, so check the paper.
