In vitro antibacterial actvity of levofloxacin againstimipenem resistant pseudomonase aeruginosa
Abstract
Objectives:The antimicrobial activity in vitro of levofloxacinand 12 kinds of ordingary Antibiotics against 92 strains imipenem resistantPseudomonase aeruginosa was Studied.Method:Antibitic susceptibility test was performed by Kirby-Bauer disk diffusion method. Resuts: The resistant rate of 92 strains against imipenem resistant to levofloxacin was 43.48%. in vitro, levofloxacin has lower resistant rate than cefotaxime,cefoxitin,ceftazidime,cefoperazone,Ofloxacin,lomefloxacinP(0.02 or P0.01);and there were no siginficant differences with norfloxain,ciprofoxain,amikacin,sulperson,tobramycin(P0.05).Conclusions:Tere are good antibacterial activity of levofloxacin against imipenem resistantPsedomonase aeruginosa.
