The Status Quo of Experimental Animal Models of Migraine
Abstract
Migraine is a kind of primary headache.Up to now,the pathogenesis and pathomechanism of migraine are still unclear.At present the major theories on migraine include neurovascular theory,trigeminovascular theory and cortical spreading depression theory.Animal models are made on the basis of forementioned theories.In this article we comprehensively summarize the literature about experimental animal models of migraine.
