Evocation of the Tides: Dapo Adelugba`s Production of Ozidi
Abstract
The chapter discusses the 1995 production of J. P. Clark's play Ozidi by Professor Dapo Adelugba. The production was sponsored by Nigeria International Bank. The production was quite memorable because of the perceived difficulty of the play that had seen it hardly directed or produced. This essay looks at the different production elements that went into the execution of the performance and the dexterity that went into their mingling in the production.
