Synthesis of dapoxetine
Abstract
Dapoxetine,a novel fast-acting selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor(SSRI),is used to treat depression and affective disorder at preliminary stage, but now is mainly for the treatment of prospermia which is one of the most commonly male sexual dysfunction. This drug is getting more popular due to better chemical stability,fast-acting property and little side effects. This paper reviews the synthetic methods of dapoxetine.
