Study on the Resolution of Racemic Dapoxetine
Abstract
Based on the solubility difference of diastereoisomers prepared from the reaction between Dapoxetine and D-or L-(+)-tartaric acid, the racemic Dapoxetines were resolved with the S-Dapoxetine and R-Dapoxetine resolution yield of 31.3% and 21.3% respectively, and the e.e% values of S-Dapoxetine and R-Dapoxetine were more than 99.9%. This process was simple and suitable for the industrial production of S-Dapoxetine.
