Abstract We, the Editor and Publisher of Journal of Psychosomatic Obstetrics & Gynecology, have retracted the following article: Bohsas, H., Alibrahim, H., Swed, S., Abouainain, Y., Aljabali, A., Kazan, L., Jabban, Y.K.E., Mehmood, Q., Sawaf, B., Eissa, N., Alkasem, M., Edrees, Y., Cherrez-Ojeda, I., Fathey, S., Rashid, G., Hafez, W., AbdElrahim, E., Osman, H., Emran, T.B., Pathan, R.K., & Khandaker, M.U. (2024). Prevalence and knowledge of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and health-related practices among women of Syria: a cross-sectional study. Journal of Psychosomatic Obstetrics & Gynecology, 45(1). https://doi.org/10.1080/0167482X.2024.2318194 Since publication, concerns have been raised about the author contributions and the source of data collection of this study. When approached for an explanation the authors have been unable to address the concerns raised. As verifying the integrity of the scholarly record is core to the integrity of the published work, we are therefore retracting the article from the journal. The authors listed in this publication have been informed. The authors do not agree with the retraction. We have been informed in our decision-making by our editorial policies and COPE guidelines. The retracted article will remain online to maintain the scholarly record, but it will be digitally watermarked on each page as ‘Retracted’.
