Abstract
Statement of Retraction: Finding of antibiotic compounds pyrrolo [1,2-a]pyrazine-1,4-dione, hexahydro and Cyclo(prolyl-tyrosyl) isolated from the degradation of epoxy We, the editor and publisher of Environmental Technology have retracted the following article: Vikram, V., & Hariram, N. (2025). Finding of antibiotic compounds pyrrolo [1,2-a]pyrazine-1,4-dione, hexahydro and Cyclo(prolyl-tyrosyl) isolated from the degradation of epoxy. Environmental Technology, 46(12), 2064–2079. https://doi.org/10.1080/09593330.2024.2419560 Following publication, concerns were raised regarding the reproducibility of the results and unsupported claims. When contacted for an explanation, the authors cooperated fully and provided responses to our queries. However, the responses provided did not sufficiently address the concerns raised. As verifying the validity and reproducibility of published work is core to the integrity of the scholarly work, we are therefore retracting the article. The corresponding author listed in this publication has been informed. We have been informed in our decision-making by our editorial policies and the COPE principles. The retracted article will remain online to maintain the scholarly record, but it will be digitally watermarked on each page as ‘Retracted’.
