Abstract

Two errors appeared in the corrected proof publication of this manuscript (Yamamoto S, et al. “Coronavirus Disease 2019 [COVID-19] Breakthrough Infection and Post-Vaccination Neutralizing Antibodies Among Healthcare Workers in a Referral Hospital in Tokyo: A Case-Control Matching Study.” Clin Infect Dis 2021 https://doi.org/10.1093/cid/ciab1048). On the title page, the statement “S.Y. and T.M. contributed equally to this work” was incorrectly added by the editorial office. There should be no statement. The corresponding author is incorrectly listed as Dr. Yamamoto. The correct post-publication corresponding author is Tetsuya Mizoue, Ph.D, Department of Epidemiology and Prevention, Center for Clinical Sciences, National Center for Global Health and Medicine, 1-21-1, Toyama, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, 162-8655, Japan ([email protected]). The publisher regrets these errors.

How strong is the evidence?

Evidence Hub reads this as a case-control. Its evidence level is 4 of 5 (Low · observational). Observational designs can show an association but not prove cause.

How the five levels of evidence work. The level is assigned automatically from the abstract and can be wrong, so check the paper.
