RETRACTED ARTICLE: Antepartum and postpartum uterine artery impedance in women with preeclampsia: a case control study
Abstract
We, the Editor and Publisher of Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, have retracted the following article: Ahmed M. Maged, Amira Y. Shoab & Amira S. Dieb (2019) Antepartum and postpartum uterine artery impedance in women with pre-eclampsia: a case control study, Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, 39:5, 633-638, DOI: https://doi.org/10.1080/01443615.2018.1563054 Since publication, significant concerns have been raised about the results reported in the article. When approached for an explanation, the authors fully cooperated with the investigation and provided responses to our queries. However, these responses have not sufficiently addressed our concerns. As we cannot confirm the validity of the results as reported, we are therefore retracting the article. The authors have been informed of this decision, and they do not agree with the retraction. We have been informed in our decision-making by our editorial policies and COPE guidelines. The retracted article will remain online to maintain the scholarly record, but it will be digitally watermarked on each page as ‘Retracted’.
