Application of a Markovian photon transport model to compton backscatter imaging
Abstract
A Compton backscatter imaging technique is being developed for the detection of underground land mines. To improve the quality of the image, we have studied image deconvulution techniques. One method is to reconsrtuct the image as an inverse photon transport problem. Results are described.
