Study On Highlighting Effect Of Organic Materials In Compton Backscatter Imaging
Abstract
Compare with the transmission imaging,Compton backscatter imaging has an advantage of highlighting the organic materials,so it is more appropriate for inspection of contraband such as explo- sives,drug etc.This paper analyses several factors which affect the highlighting effect of organic materi- als with Monte Carlo simulation method,including energy of the incident ray,dimension of the target ma- terial,dimension and position of detector,working mode of detector.The results help to design Compton backseatter imaging system designing.
