Towards an Interconnected Quantum Energy Infrastructure: Coherent Energy Packet Protocols and Decoherence-Resistant Storage Architectures
Abstract
This paper introduces the Quantum Energy Supply System (QESS), a paradigm shift from chemical battery–based energy distribution to a quantum-coherent, digitized energy infrastructure. By encoding energy as secure, packetized quantum emissions with nanosecond-scale responsiveness, the system eliminates voltage drops and latency limits. Hierarchical decoherence suppression—via physical isolation, quantum error correction, and topological encoding—enables stable energy storage, transforming power grids into programmable, high-precision energy networks.
