The Zero Total Energy of the Universe: A Necessary Consequence of the Quantum Core Framework
Abstract
This paper has been updated by https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.20279031 This paper proves that the total energy of the universe is zero as a rigorous consequence of the Planck Core Framework. In standard cosmology, the spatial flatness of the universe (Ωtotal=1Ωtotal=1), which implies zero total energy, must be imposed as a finely tuned initial condition. I demonstrate that within the Planck Core Framework, flatness is not an initial condition but the inevitable dynamical attractor of the quantum bit entanglement network. The global average entanglement deficit ⟨δ⟩global⟨δ⟩global, which encodes the spatial curvature, is proved to be a Lyapunov function that decreases monotonically under the network dynamics governed by Axiom~2 (gravity as entropic force) and attains its minimum value of zero at equilibrium. This directly implies Ωtotal=1Ωtotal=1 and hence total energy zero. The proof is independent of initial conditions and requires no fine-tuning. I further demonstrate the deep self-consistency of this result with the framework's resolutions of the dark energy, dark matter, inflation, and baryogenesis puzzles. The zero total energy of the universe is thus elevated from an observational curiosity to a logical necessity of the quantum information structure underlying physical reality.
