Is IT possible to cognise truth?
Abstract
The aim of this study is to analyse the genesis of concepts of general theory of truth and to attempt to find new approaches to understanding the problem of truth. The research methodology consists of conceptual analysis, criticism of certain theories, synthesis of metaphysical, historical and dialectical methods, and interpretation. Our research yielded the following results:- a review of the main concepts that make up the general theory of truth in the context of the dialectics of social worldview paradigms was carried out;- the levels of existence of Truth were defined, and attention was focused on the fact that scientific truth, although it is an indisputably accepted concept, creates a certain confusion in understanding the ontological status and possibility of knowing Truth;- based on an analysis of interpretations of quantum physics phenomena that go beyond the mainstream scientific paradigm, hypotheses are identified that suggest the immateriality, or more precisely, the mathematical nature of the fundamental elements of reality;- The key necessity of human cognition, a unique spiritual essence, as a necessary condition for the cognition of Truth and the impossibility of such cognition, in its entirety, by scientific methods is argued. The author believes that the conclusion about the necessary synthesis of knowledge of religion, philosophy, art, and science into a common system is of important theoretical significance for the study. This synthesis simultaneously…
