A Review on Research of Seismic Respond of Large Scale Storage Tank
Abstract
Vertical cylindrical tank is a kind of important storage equipments in petrol and chemical industry.It has been a tendency that the storage tank be enlarged.Once the large scale storage tank is destroyed in seism,the consequence will be serious,so anti-seismic research for the large scale storage tank is paid more and more attention by the engineering community.In this paper,a review including the research methods,research results is made for the general situation of research progress of seismic respond for the large scale storage tanks in our country.And some problems that must be solved are pointed out,which can contribute the safeguard analysis for large scale storage tank.
